The Lincolnshire Community Paediatrics Services is a team of specialist doctors whose expertise is in working with children who are not meeting expected developmental milestones (learning, behavioural, health). We provide the following services:

  • Autism assessment (assessment only)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessment (assessment and medical management)
  • Neurodevelopmental concerns assessment (assessment and management)

We also have a specialist nurse and network with a wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) including clinical psychologists and speech and language therapists when assessing for a social communication disorder. We work closely with all of the other agencies in Lincolnshire who support children and young people (e.g. education, health and social care).

Referral portal for schools

Schools and other education settings should be the primary referrers to our service.

All schools and other education settings should use the referral portal to make a referral.

Please note, this portal is currently only in use for education settings

Other children and young people professionals

Children who are not in education can be referred by their GP, health visitor or another suitable professional.

Other CYP professionals, please continue to use the referral forms downloadable here:

It is important to ensure that children, young people and their families and carers have the appropriate support in place before a referral to our team is made.

Please ensure you have accessed the relevant support for a young person and/or their family before completing this referral.
